Macmillan Cancer Support is one of the largest British charities and provides specialist healthcare, information and financial support to people affected by cancer.
Aviva has partnered with Macmillan to raise awareness of the support that Macmillan can give to your employees impacted by cancer, either with their own diagnosis or a friend or loved one.

Simply sign up and you'll get a free Essential Work and Cancer Toolkit for your organisation, plus access to expert training from Macmillan.
It's also useful if you run an SME and you’re worried about the impact of cancer in the workplace on your business.
It includes videos on talking to employees about cancer, how to support your staff, your legal responsibilities, training for your managers and more.
Support for employers
Work is important for many people with cancer or caring for someone with cancer, managers and employers play an important role in supporting these people. Macmillan has a wealth of guidance to help from simple first steps to take to support your staff through to templates for cancer and carers' policies.

Cancer Care with Get Active
Cancer Care with Get Active offers discounted products and services that can help your insured employees with the daily living adjustments a cancer diagnosis and treatment can bring, as well as offers on services and experiences that may enhance quality time spent with family and close friends.
Whether access the cancer care offers for themselves or to help support loved ones or those close to them following a cancer diagnosis, this service is available for insured employees to use at any time, not just during a claim. Terms apply.
Stress helpline
Provided by Care first, the stress helpline offers your insured employees aged 16 or over, the chance to talk in confidence to trained counsellors about issues they feel are causing them stress.
The helpline can be a good place if employees need help with personal or work-related stress issues. Talking and sharing can be the first step in helping to work through problems and resolve them, aiming to achieve the best outcome for employees and employers.
Bereavement Helpline
Provided by Care first, the bereavement helpline gives your insured employees practical and emotional support from qualified bereavement counsellors. It helps them deal with grief when they lose someone close to them. And if your employee is the one that passes away, their eligible family members can use the service to help them cope with their loss.
Wellbeing services are non-contractual benefits Aviva can change or withdraw at any time.
To be eligible for these services employees must be permanent residents of Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.
