Retirement advice for Savings Trust members

There are lots of options open to you on retirement from the Rolls-Royce Retirement Savings Trust, so it's good to have help creating a retirement solution that works for you.

That’s why the Trustees have arranged for discounted access to regulated retirement advice with WPS Advisory. This is open to both current and deferred Savings Trust members.

How does it work?

After registering for the service with WPS Advisory (find out how below) they'll contact you within three working days, asking you to book a meeting with them. This starts your financial planning journey, which will include advisor-lead meetings and a recommendation. Your advisor will explain the steps required in order for you to make an informed decision in respect of your retirement choices. They'll also keep you up to date with timescales and the level of service you can expect.

What's the cost?

All members can access the service at preferential rates. And many current Rolls-Royce employees will have the cost funded for them. Find out more below...

Current Rolls-Royce employees, aged 55 and over with at least three years’ service

You're entitled to retirement advice that's funded by Rolls-Royce and the Savings Trust on leaving employment. The only cost to you will be a nominal benefit in kind tax charge - in 2026, this is between £20 and £45, depending on your income tax band.

All other members

You can access the retirement advice service from WPS Advisory at a preferential rate of £500 + VAT.

How to register for retirement advice

Please don't register until you are certain that you're ready to retire. This may result in you receiving advice that's not suitable, and you may be charged for it.

All retiring members can click here to register for the retirement advice service and you can do this up to four months ahead of your planned retirement date. Alternatively, call WPS Advisory on 01332 220777.

Funded retirement advice - useful to know...

The funded retirement advice service is a one-time offer for over 55s leaving employment with Rolls-Royce. You have three months after leaving to take this up - if you take the retirement advice later, you'll have to pay for it.

The funded advice is a standard service covering your membership of the Savings Trust. If you have other retirement savings or more complex requirements, you may have to pay an additional fee. WPS Advisory will let you know if additional fees apply, so don’t worry about receiving an unexpected bill.

If you don't qualify for funded retirement advice, WPS Advisory will make you aware of any additional fees so you can decide whether to continue or not.

If you have any questions about the retirement advice process, you can speak to WPS Advisory by calling 01332 220777 or +44 (0)1332 220777 from overseas.
