Everyone faces struggles at times, but where do you go if you need a little support?

The Thrive app could help when you’re feeling overwhelmed or if you simply want to stay on top of your mental wellbeing.

The app helps you manage your mental wellbeing, anytime, anywhere.

You can use it to manage, track and record your feelings through a range of online activities, tools and techniques, completely confidentially. And doing so can help you identify and prevent common mental health conditions.

If the app recognises you may benefit from further support, it will offer you options tailored to you.

We all lead busy lives and our wellbeing is just as important as the next person’s, so it’s important to take time out for ourselves.

To help you manage your mental resilience, the app gives you access to short, simple activities.

These will help you learn different ways to relax, including mindfulness techniques, a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy programme and meditation.

When it comes to everyday situations, we all think and react differently.

By helping you understand why you might feel a certain way, both physically and mentally, the app can offer you a way to see your situation more positively.

The more you use the app, the more it learns about you. It will then be able to suggest tailored goals to help you manage your emotional wellbeing.

These simple goals could include a spot of meditation, deep muscle relaxation or taking a walk to help you feel better both physically and mentally.

And you can look back on previous results, to help you build a fuller picture of your thoughts, feelings, and perceptions in different situations.

If you feel you need information or one-on-one support, you can contact one of the friendly Employee Assistance Programme counsellors through the app.

The app is available as part of the Aviva Group Income Protection wellbeing services.

Why? Because you’re important and so is your wellbeing.

Wellbeing services are non-contractual benefits which Aviva can change or withdraw at any time.

The app is provided by Thrive.

The Employee Assistance Programme is provided by Care first.

Terms and residency restrictions apply and these can be viewed online.

You can download the Thrive app from the App Store or Google Play.

To register, you’ll need an access code, available from your employer, and to agree to the app terms and conditions.
