Important: Your Transfer Back Option
When the Trustee(s) of your previous pension scheme transferred your pension to Aviva, the Defined Contribution (DC) portion was moved into the Aviva Master Trust, while the Defined Benefit (DB) portion was placed into a replacement annuity policy with Aviva. The transfer back option allows you to move the DC portion into the replacement annuity policy that you have with Aviva.
By transferring the DC portion into the replacement annuity policy that you have with Aviva, you can potentially increase the amount of tax-free cash you can take at retirement.
