Welcome to your
Group Life Employee Hub

Who cares wins

It takes Aviva to help you live your best life

Your employer has chosen to take out a Group Life policy with Aviva. They will be able to let you know if you are insured by this.

If you are insured, this means your loved ones will receive some financial support if you die whilst employed by your current employer.

We understand that loss affect's people in different ways, so we also offer access to bereavement support as part of our complimentary wellbeing offering for your family too.

Our Group Life product page tells you more about the cover you have and how a claim is made.

Life cover is the one that everyone hopes they won’t need.

Nevertheless, no one would deny the reassurance of the financial benefit and the bereavement support it can give those left behind.

But does it only have to be there for the sad part?

No.

Because at Aviva, we believe that group life cover should support employees in ‘life’

That’s why the wellbeing services available mean there’s a whole other side to our Group Life cover.

A side that doesn’t just wait for, or even depend on death.

Because it’s also there to help employees throughout their lives.

A finger-prick health check to help prevent and detect health issues.

Digital GP consultations give quick access to medical professionals, 7 days a week.

Easy access to mental health support and guidance, from self-help tools to video consultations with a clinical expert.

Discounted legal services, including will-writing and lasting power of attorney, to give employees peace of mind they’ve done their best to prepare for the worst.

On top of gym membership discounts and much more.

At Aviva, we try to help people get the best out of life. And so, with Group Life cover, we’re not just there if life ends.

Group Life cover.
It takes Aviva.

The Bereavement Helpline

Losing someone close to you can be devastating and sometimes it seems impossible to go on. The Bereavement Helpline, provided by Care first, offers insured employees emotional and practical support from qualified bereavement counsellors to help you carry on. And if you're the one to leave us, your eligible family members can also use the service to help them cope with their loss.

Stress Helpline

The Stress Helpline, provided by Care first, offers insured employees over the age of 16 the chance to talk in confidence to trained counsellors about issues that are troubling you.

Whether the things on your mind are personal or work-related, the helpline can be a good place to find help. Talking and sharing can be the first step in helping to work through problems and resolve them.

Wellbeing Library

Stress and worry can take a toll on wellbeing, wherever it comes from. The Wellbeing Library is an online library of useful content, hints and tips - including guides and tools. In the Wellbeing Library, you'll find sections offering helpful support on all kinds of situations, from family and relationships, money or work, mental or physical health conditions. Whatever's on your mind, you can find information to help you deal with it.

Grief Encounter

Losing a parent or sibling is both devastating and life-changing for a child. No child should have to work through their emotions alone. Grief Encounter is a charity that works closely with bereaved children, their family, school and other professionals to help them find a way through the anxiety, fear and isolation so often caused by grief.
