Making the most of online saving with Aviva
Bolt has chosen Aviva to help you make the most of your savings.
Bolt provides you with your own pension to save for your retirement. Your pension enables you to build up a pot of money that can be used when you retire. It gives you a tax-efficient way to invest, and you could benefit from a regular contribution from Bolt.

When you think ahead to your retirement, it can feel like there’s a lot to consider - how much you can afford to save right now and the sort of income you might need when you retire. Whatever stage of pension planning you’re at, the sooner you start saving, the more likely you are to be able to enjoy the kind of retirement you want.
It's important to remember that the money invested in your pension is invested in funds. This means your pension fund has the potential to grow over time. However, it also means the value of the fund could go down as well as up and may be worth less than the amount paid in.
Bolt will also contribute to your pension. These contributions will show on your statement as Driver contributions.
Documents
You can find further information about the Bolt pension within the documents below.
Aviva pension schemes are usually set up by an employer for their employees and so some of our standard terms refer to the “employee”, “employer” “salary” etc.
We understand that these are not reflective of your arrangements as self-employed PHV drivers; and that Bolt is not your employer and do not pay you a salary as an employee.
Instead Bolt have set up this pension scheme with Aviva to help you save money and provide you with an income when you stop working. To facilitate payments into this pension scheme, Bolt will facilitate transfer of payments by you – and on their behalf – to the scheme.
If you are unclear as to what any of the terms referred to in the documents mean in the context of your relationship with Bolt please get in touch.
These documents may be updated – you can find the version date of the document on the bottom of the last page. If you require a previous version of a document, please get in touch.
Aviva does not own, produce, maintain, or update any documents marked with an *. Aviva therefore accepts no liability for the contents or for any decisions based on these.
Please read the scheme documents to learn more about where your money will be invested.
